- Doenjang (Korean soybean paste) - 2 tablespoons
- Cream cheese - 100 grams, softened
- Grated mozzarella cheese - 50 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Spring onion - 1 stalk, chopped
- Egg - 1 large
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the spinach for about 1-2 minutes until wilted, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, doenjang, minced garlic, sesame oil, black pepper, and chopped spring onion. Mix well until smooth.
- Add the blanched spinach to the cream cheese mixture, followed by the egg. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Transfer the spinach mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle the grated mozzarella cheese on top of the spinach mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
