Ingredients
- Fresh spinach - 200 grams
- Eggs - 4 large
- Milk - 60 ml
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Cheddar cheese - 50 grams, grated
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes) - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and gochugaru until well combined.
- Stir in the sautéed spinach mixture and half of the grated cheddar cheese into the egg mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish (approximately 20x20 cm).
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before garnishing with chopped green onions.
- Slice and serve warm.
