- Garlic minced - 3 cloves
- Ginger minced - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and salt to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and coat them well. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator for more flavor).
- Place the marinated chicken thighs on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice glaze.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
