- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Ground pork - 250 grams
- Green onion - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1 large
- Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Korean chili flakes (gochugaru) - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, chopped green onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, egg, breadcrumbs, black pepper, salt, and gochugaru.
- Mix the ingredients together until well combined, but do not overmix.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and browned on the outside.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with sesame seeds before serving, if desired.
