  • Honey - 30 grams
  • Sesame oil - 15 ml
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 10 grams, grated
  • Carrot - 1 medium, sliced
  • Potato - 1 medium, cubed
  • Onion - 1 small, chopped
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to create the marinade.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. In a baking dish, place the marinated chicken thighs and arrange the sliced carrot, cubed potato, and chopped onion around them.
  5. Pour the water into the baking dish to keep the chicken moist during baking.
