Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 300 grams, thinly sliced
  • Coconut aminos - 4 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon (optional for sweetness)
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Zucchini - 1 medium, julienned
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine the coconut aminos, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and honey (if using).
  3. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and ensure all pieces are well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. While the beef marinates, prepare the vegetables: julienne the carrot and zucchini, and slice the red bell pepper.
  5. In a baking dish, spread the marinated beef evenly across the bottom. Layer the julienned carrot, zucchini, and sliced red bell pepper over the beef.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  7. Once cooked, remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
