Ingredients
- Beef short ribs - 500 grams
- Soy sauce - 60 ml
- Garlic, minced - 4 cloves
- Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Erythritol or other low-carb sweetener - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, erythritol, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Add the beef short ribs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.
- Place the marinated beef short ribs in a single layer in a baking dish.
- Pour the remaining marinade over the beef, then cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the beef is tender and slightly caramelized on top.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
