Ingredients

  • Beef short ribs - 500 grams
  • Soy sauce - 60 ml
  • Garlic, minced - 4 cloves
  • Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Erythritol or other low-carb sweetener - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, erythritol, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  3. Add the beef short ribs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.
  4. Place the marinated beef short ribs in a single layer in a baking dish.
  5. Pour the remaining marinade over the beef, then cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the beef is tender and slightly caramelized on top.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
