Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 300 grams, thinly sliced
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and half of the chopped green onions to create the marinade.
  3. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. While the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables by julienning the carrot and slicing the bell pepper.
  5. After marinating, place the beef and vegetables in a baking dish, spreading them evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and slightly caramelized.
  7. Once baked, remove from the oven and garnish with sesame seeds and the remaining chopped green onions before serving.
