Steps
- Wash the napa cabbage and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the napa cabbage pieces to the pan and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, sugar, and water until the sugar dissolves.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture over the sautéed cabbage, stirring well to combine.
- Continue to cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
