  • Napa cabbage - 200 grams

  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Green onion - 1 stalk, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Water - 100 milliliters

Steps

  1. Wash the napa cabbage and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the napa cabbage pieces to the pan and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, sugar, and water until the sugar dissolves.
  6. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the sautéed cabbage, stirring well to combine.
  7. Continue to cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and the sauce has thickened slightly.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
