- Napa cabbage - 200 grams, roughly chopped

- Vegetable broth - 200 ml

- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Tofu - 150 grams, cubed
- Mushrooms (shiitake or button) - 100 grams, sliced
- Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a large pot, combine the water and vegetable broth, then bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and soy sauce to the pot, stirring well.
- Once the broth is boiling, reduce the heat to low and add the chopped napa cabbage and sliced mushrooms.
- Simmer for about 10 minutes, until the cabbage is tender.
- Gently add the cubed tofu to the soup and let it heat through for an additional 5 minutes.
- Stir in the sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
