- Smoked salmon - 100 grams
- Cucumber - 1/2 medium, julienned
- Carrot - 1/2 medium, julienned
- Avocado - 1/2, sliced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 teaspoon
- Nori sheets - 2, cut into strips
Steps
- Using a vegetable peeler, slice the zucchini lengthwise into thin strips. Aim for about 10-12 strips.
- In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese with rice vinegar until smooth.
- Lay out a zucchini strip on a flat surface or bamboo sushi mat.
- Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture on the zucchini strip.
- Place a slice of smoked salmon, a few pieces of cucumber, carrot, and avocado on one end of the zucchini strip.
- Carefully roll the zucchini strip over the filling, starting from the end with the filling, to form a tight roll.
- Repeat the process for the remaining zucchini strips and filling ingredients.
- Once all rolls are made, slice each roll into bite-sized pieces.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top and serve with soy sauce for dipping.
