Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 200 grams
  • Chicken breast - 200 grams
  • Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
  • Bell pepper (red or yellow) - 1, sliced
  • Mushrooms (shiitake or button) - 100 grams, halved
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Mirin - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt and pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Cut the beef and chicken into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade, mixing well. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the meat is marinating, prepare the vegetables by slicing the zucchini, bell pepper, and halving the mushrooms.
  4. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Once the grill is hot, thread the marinated meat and vegetables onto skewers, alternating between them.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  7. Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds over the grilled skewers before serving.
