- Mixed vegetables (bell peppers, zucchini, mushrooms) - 200 grams (sliced)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for about 15 minutes to soak up the flavors.
- While the beef is marinating, prepare the mixed vegetables by slicing them into thin strips.
- Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil to prevent sticking.
- Once hot, add the marinated beef and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until nicely browned and cooked through.
- Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
- Serve the grilled beef over cooked rice, topped with stir-fried vegetables, chopped green onions, and white sesame seeds.
