- Beef sirloin - 300 grams
- Soy sauce - 4 tablespoons
- Mirin - 2 tablespoons
- Sake - 2 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Mixed bell peppers - 100 grams, sliced
- Zucchini - 100 grams, sliced
- Cooked white rice - 300 grams
Steps
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
- Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips and add to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well-coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables by slicing the bell peppers and zucchini.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush with sesame oil.
- Remove the beef from the marinade and grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked to your desired doneness.
- In the same grill pan, add the sliced vegetables and grill for about 5 minutes until they are tender and slightly charred.
- Serve the grilled beef and vegetables over a bed of cooked white rice, and garnish with chopped green onions.
