- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (15g)
- Green onion - 1 stalk, finely sliced
Steps
- Wash the zucchini and slice them into 1/2 cm thick rounds.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create a marinade.
- Place the zucchini slices in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for 10 minutes.
- Preheat a grill pan or non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once hot, add the marinated zucchini slices to the pan in a single layer. Grill for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are tender and have grill marks.
- Remove the zucchini from the pan and sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
