- Nori sheets - 2 sheets
- Grated mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
- Cooked chicken breast, shredded - 100 grams
- Sliced bell pepper - 50 grams
- Chopped green onions - 30 grams
- Olive oil - 15 ml
- Sesame seeds - 10 grams
- Sriracha sauce - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the cooked sushi rice with soy sauce until well combined.
- Divide the rice mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a triangle (onigiri).
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
- Place the onigiri in the skillet and grill each side for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Once grilled, remove the onigiri from the skillet and set aside.
- On each onigiri, layer shredded chicken, sliced bell pepper, and grated mozzarella cheese.
- Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds on top of the cheese.
- Return the onigiri to the skillet, cover, and cook on low heat for another 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Drizzle with Sriracha sauce to taste before serving.
