Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 150 grams
  • Warm water - 100 ml
  • Active dry yeast - 5 grams
  • Olive oil - 15 ml
  • Salt - 3 grams
  • Sweet potatoes - 200 grams, roasted and mashed
  • Nori (seaweed) - 2 sheets, cut into strips
  • Miso paste - 15 grams
  • Sesame oil - 5 ml
  • Chili flakes - 1 gram (optional)
  • Green onions - 2, finely chopped
  • Black sesame seeds - 5 grams

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  4. While the dough is rising, roast the sweet potatoes in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25-30 minutes or until tender. Allow to cool, then mash and mix with miso paste and sesame oil.
  5. Preheat your oven to 220°C. Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface to form a pizza base.
  6. Spread the sweet potato mixture evenly over the pizza base, then top with nori strips, green onions, and chili flakes if using.
  7. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle with black sesame seeds before slicing and serving.
