- Silken tofu - 200 grams
- Maple syrup - 3 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh fruit (such as strawberries or kiwi) - 100 grams
Steps
- Drain the silken tofu and wrap it in kitchen towels to remove excess moisture for about 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, and water to create the glaze.
- Once the tofu has drained, cut it into 1-inch cubes and lightly dust with cornstarch.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of oil if desired.
- Carefully place the tofu cubes in the skillet and cook until golden on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
- Pour the glaze over the tofu cubes and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the glaze thickens.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Serve warm with fresh fruit on the side.
