- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Gluten-free burger buns - 2
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Sliced cucumber - 1/2 cucumber
- Avocado - 1/2, sliced
Steps
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
- In a bowl, combine the salmon fillets, wasabi paste, gluten-free breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, green onion, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two patties of equal size.
- Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork.
- While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the gluten-free burger buns on the grill for about 2 minutes until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked salmon patty, sliced cucumber, and avocado.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
