  • Wasabi paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Gluten-free breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
  • Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Gluten-free burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Sliced cucumber - 1/2 cucumber
  • Avocado - 1/2, sliced

Steps

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine the salmon fillets, wasabi paste, gluten-free breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, green onion, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into two patties of equal size.
  4. Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the gluten-free burger buns on the grill for about 2 minutes until golden.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked salmon patty, sliced cucumber, and avocado.
  7. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
