Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Fresh basil leaves - 30 grams
  • Wasabi paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Parmesan cheese, grated - 30 grams
  • Garlic, minced - 1 clove
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved - 100 grams
  • Spinach, fresh - 50 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 75 grams
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a food processor, combine basil leaves, wasabi paste, olive oil, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth to create the wasabi pesto.
  3. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
  4. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spread an even layer of the wasabi pesto over the pizza base.
  6. Evenly distribute the fresh spinach and halved cherry tomatoes on top of the pesto.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the vegetables.
