- Egg - 1 large
- Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Cucumber (sliced thinly) - 100 grams
- Avocado (sliced) - 1 medium
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, wasabi paste, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and egg. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a dash of sesame oil.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the wasabi mayo by mixing the mayonnaise with a teaspoon of wasabi paste in a small bowl.
- Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a minute.
- To assemble the burgers, place a beef patty on a lettuce leaf, top with avocado slices, cucumber, green onions, and a generous dollop of wasabi mayo.
- Fold the lettuce leaf over the filling and serve immediately.
