Ingredients

  • Dried wakame seaweed - 10 grams
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, thinly sliced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
  • Rice vinegar - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Soak the dried wakame seaweed in warm water for about 10 minutes until it rehydrates and expands. Drain and squeeze out excess water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rehydrated wakame, sliced cucumber, julienned carrot, and halved cherry tomatoes.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and a pinch of salt until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently to combine everything evenly.
