- Black pepper - to taste
- Burger buns - 2 pieces
- Lettuce - 2 leaves
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Cucumber - 1/2 medium, thinly sliced
- Wasabi - 1 teaspoon
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the ground chicken, miso paste, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, panko breadcrumbs, egg, and black pepper until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the wasabi mayo by mixing wasabi and mayonnaise in a small bowl.
- Toast the burger buns lightly in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading the wasabi mayo on the bottom bun, adding a leaf of lettuce, the cooked patty, slices of tomato, cucumber, and finally topping with the other half of the bun.
