- Sake kasu (sake lees) - 100 grams
- Firm tofu - 200 grams, cubed
- Baby spinach - 100 grams
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 200 ml
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
Steps
- In a medium saucepan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the julienned carrot to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add the cubed tofu and stir gently to combine, cooking for another 2 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the sake kasu with 200 ml of water and soy sauce until smooth.
- Pour the sake kasu mixture into the pan, stirring gently to coat the tofu and vegetables.
- Add the baby spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
- Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
