Ingredients

  • Whole grain bread - 2 slices
  • Nattō - 100 grams
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon

  • Green onion - 1 stalk, finely chopped
  • Avocado - 1/2, sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 4, halved
  • Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped
  • Black sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili flakes - a pinch (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Place the slices of whole grain bread on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.
  3. While the bread is toasting, prepare the nattō by placing it in a bowl and adding soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir well to combine.
  4. Once the bread is toasted, spread the nattō mixture evenly over each slice.
