- Sugar - 10 grams

- Steamed rice - 200 grams
- Miso soup - 300 ml
Steps
- Begin by slicing the cucumber, daikon radish, and carrot into thin rounds or strips, and chop the napa cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced vegetables with salt and mix well. Let them sit for about 15 minutes to draw out moisture.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together rice vinegar and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the drained vegetables to the vinegar mixture and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the steamed rice according to package instructions and make the miso soup by dissolving miso paste in hot water.
- Once the vegetables have marinated, arrange them artfully on a platter, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve alongside steamed rice and miso soup.
