Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Firm tofu - 150 grams, crumbled
  • Fresh spinach - 100 grams, chopped
  • Miso paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Green onion - 1 stalk, sliced
  • Nori sheets - 1, cut into strips (optional)
  • Black sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the chopped spinach to the pan and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. In a bowl, mix the crumbled tofu with miso paste and soy sauce until well combined.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  6. Spread the tofu mixture evenly over the pizza crust.
  7. Top with the sautéed spinach and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Once out of the oven, sprinkle with sliced green onions, nori strips (if using), and black sesame seeds.
  10. Slice and serve hot.
