- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Miso paste - 2 tablespoons
- Mirin - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2 stalks (sliced)
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium heat.
- Drain the firm tofu and cut it into 2 cm thick slices.
- In a small bowl, mix together the miso paste, mirin, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.
- Brush the miso mixture generously over the sliced tofu on both sides.
- Place the tofu slices on the preheated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and slightly charred.
- Once cooked, remove the tofu from the grill and place it on a serving plate.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
