Ingredients
- Pizza dough - 200 grams
- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Teriyaki sauce - 4 tablespoons
- Red bell pepper - 1/2, sliced
- Green onion - 2, chopped
- Carrot - 1 small, julienned
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh cilantro - a handful, for garnish
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into small cubes.
- In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- While the tofu is marinating, roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
- Arrange the marinated tofu evenly over the pizza base, followed by the sliced red bell pepper, chopped green onion, and julienned carrot.
- Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce over the toppings.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro before slicing.
