Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Teriyaki sauce - 4 tablespoons
  • Red bell pepper - 1/2, sliced
  • Green onion - 2, chopped
  • Carrot - 1 small, julienned
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - a handful, for garnish
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into small cubes.
  3. In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce and let marinate for 10 minutes.
  4. While the tofu is marinating, roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
  5. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
  7. Arrange the marinated tofu evenly over the pizza base, followed by the sliced red bell pepper, chopped green onion, and julienned carrot.
  8. Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce over the toppings.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
  10. Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro before slicing.
