Ingredients

  • Eggs - 3 large
  • Silken tofu - 200 grams
  • Dashi stock - 150 ml
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Mirin - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 1 tablespoon, finely chopped
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, silken tofu, dashi stock, soy sauce, mirin, and salt until smooth and well combined.
  3. Grease a small baking dish with sesame oil and pour the egg and tofu mixture into the dish.
  4. Sprinkle the finely chopped green onions on top of the mixture.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil to prevent the top from browning too quickly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mixture is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares.
  8. Serve warm as a side dish or light meal.
