- Green onions, chopped - 50 grams
- Tofu, firm, cubed - 150 grams
- Soy sauce - 60 ml
- Mirin - 30 ml
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cooked white rice - 400 grams
Steps
- In a large skillet or shallow pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced beef to the skillet, cooking until it starts to brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the shiitake mushrooms, napa cabbage, and tofu cubes, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, mirin, and sugar until well combined.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and vegetables in the skillet, stirring gently to coat everything evenly.
- Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender and the sauce thickens slightly.
