Ingredients
- Ground beef (80/20) - 250 grams
- Soy sauce - 30 ml
- Mirin - 15 ml
- Sugar - 10 grams
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Shiitake mushrooms - 50 grams, sliced
- Cabbage - 100 grams, shredded
- Burger buns - 2
- Egg - 1, cooked sunny-side up
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with soy sauce, mirin, sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and half of the chopped green onions. Form the mixture into two patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- In the same skillet, add sesame oil and sauté the shiitake mushrooms and shredded cabbage for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Toast the burger buns in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked beef patty on the bottom bun, followed by the sautéed vegetables, and topping with a sunny-side-up egg.
- Sprinkle the remaining green onions and black sesame seeds over the egg, then place the top bun on to finish the burger.
