  • Mirin - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2, sliced
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the soba noodles according to package instructions, usually about 4-6 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
