- Soba noodles - 150 grams
- Broccoli florets - 200 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Chili flakes - 1/4 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the soba noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-6 minutes. During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot.
- Once cooked, drain the noodles and broccoli, and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside to drain well.
- In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the drained soba noodles and broccoli to the skillet. Pour in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and chili flakes. Toss everything together gently for 2-3 minutes until heated through and well combined.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
