- Soba noodles - 100 grams
- Vegetable oil - 100 milliliters
- Sea salt - 1 teaspoon
- Nori (seaweed) flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Wasabi powder - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the soba noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- Spread the soba noodles on a clean kitchen towel and pat dry to remove excess moisture.
- Once dry, cut the soba noodles into 5 cm (2 inches) pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, toss the soba pieces with vegetable oil, sea salt, nori flakes, sesame seeds, and wasabi powder if using.
- Spread the seasoned soba pieces evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, flipping the chips halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
