- Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
- Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
- Spring onion (finely chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Burger buns - 2 pieces

Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, soy sauce, mirin, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped spring onion, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and have a nice golden-brown crust.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly on another skillet or toaster.
- Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the pork patty, sliced tomato, a dollop of mayonnaise, and pickled ginger. Top with the other half of the bun.
