  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams (about 6 tomatoes)
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon (15 ml)
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon (15 ml)
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon (15 ml)
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon (5 ml)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon (5 grams)

Steps

  1. Wash the shiso leaves thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Slice the cucumber, radishes, and carrot into thin matchsticks.
  3. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the shiso leaves, cucumber, radishes, carrot, and cherry tomatoes.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and a pinch of salt to create the dressing.
  6. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine, making sure all the vegetables are coated.
  7. Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top as a garnish before serving.
