- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Burger buns - 2
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Sliced cucumber - 50 grams
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 2
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped shiso leaves, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on another skillet or in a toaster.
- Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with lettuce leaves, followed by the cooked beef patties.
- Add sliced cucumber and tomato on top of the patties, then cover with the top half of the buns.
