- Silken tofu - 200 grams
- White sesame seeds - 30 grams

- Grated carrot - 50 grams
- Chopped cucumber - 50 grams
- Chopped green onion - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Toast the white sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until they are golden and fragrant, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
- Once toasted, transfer the sesame seeds to a mortar and pestle or a food processor and grind them until they form a coarse paste.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground sesame seeds, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and maple syrup. Mix well to form a smooth dressing.
- Drain the silken tofu and gently crumble it into a bowl.
- Add the grated carrot, chopped cucumber, and chopped green onion to the bowl with the tofu.
- Pour the sesame dressing over the tofu and vegetables. Gently fold everything together until well combined. Be careful not to mash the tofu too much.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if necessary.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to an hour to allow the flavors to meld before serving.
