Ingredients

  • Shiitake mushrooms - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. Clean the shiitake mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems.
  3. Slice the mushrooms thinly, about 2-3 mm thick.
  4. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Add the sliced shiitake mushrooms to the bowl and toss until they are well coated with the mixture.
  6. Spread the mushroom slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the mushrooms.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping the chips halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let them cool before serving.
