Ingredients

  • Fresh spinach - 200 grams
  • Cooked quinoa - 100 grams
  • Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
  • Chickpea flour - 50 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for frying)
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Burger buns - 2 pieces
  • Avocado - 1, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
  • Miso paste - 1 teaspoon (optional for spread)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the fresh spinach, cooked quinoa, sesame seeds, chickpea flour, minced garlic, chopped green onion, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients until well combined, then form the mixture into 2 patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  4. While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns in a separate pan or toaster.
