- Ground chicken - 250 grams

- Sesame seeds - 2 teaspoons
- Green onion, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Whole wheat burger buns - 2
- Cucumber, thinly sliced - 1 small
- Carrot, grated - 1 small
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 teaspoon
- Lettuce leaves - 2
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, chopped green onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 2 equal patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the slaw by mixing thinly sliced cucumber, grated carrot, rice vinegar, and honey in a separate bowl. Toss to combine and set aside.
- Once the patties are cooked, toast the whole wheat burger buns lightly on the skillet for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked patty, and then top with the cucumber slaw. Place the top half of the bun on each burger.
