Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Nori seaweed (dried) - 10 grams
  • Cucumber - 50 grams, julienned
  • Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
  • Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cream cheese - 100 grams, softened
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Wasabi paste - to taste
  • Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 25 cm in diameter.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Spread the softened cream cheese evenly over the pizza base.
  5. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  6. While the pizza is baking, prepare the seaweed salad by soaking the nori in warm water for a few minutes until pliable, then chop it into small pieces.
  7. In a bowl, mix the chopped nori, julienned cucumber, julienned carrot, sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and a pinch of wasabi paste to taste.
  8. Once the pizza is out of the oven, layer the seaweed salad mixture over the cream cheese.
  9. Top with sliced avocado, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and garnish with chopped cilantro.
  10. Slice and serve warm.
