- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Mirin - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon

Steps
- Peel the satoimo and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- In a medium pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced carrot, daikon, and shiitake mushrooms to the pot. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables soften.
- Stir in the satoimo pieces and cook for another 3 minutes.
- Pour in the vegetable broth, soy sauce, and mirin. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes, or until the satoimo is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
