Ingredients

  • Sashimi-grade salmon - 100g
  • Sashimi-grade tuna - 100g
  • Nori sheets - 4 sheets
  • Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, julienned
  • Radish - 4-5 thin slices
  • Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Sea salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Start by slicing the sashimi-grade salmon and tuna into thin strips.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced fish with lemon juice, sesame oil, and a pinch of sea salt to marinate for 5 minutes.
  3. While the fish is marinating, prepare the vegetables by slicing the avocado, julienning the cucumber, and thinly slicing the radish.
  4. Lay a sheet of nori on a clean surface, shiny side down.
  5. Place a small handful of avocado, cucumber, radish, and a few pieces of marinated fish on the nori, leaving space at the bottom edge.
  6. Sprinkle some chopped cilantro over the filling.
  7. Starting from the bottom edge, roll the nori tightly around the filling to form a cone shape, using a little water to seal the edge.
  8. Repeat the process with the remaining nori and filling ingredients.
  9. Serve the temaki immediately with extra lemon juice or dipping sauce on the side if desired.
