- Sashimi-grade salmon - 100g
- Sashimi-grade tuna - 100g
- Nori sheets - 4 sheets
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Cucumber - 1 medium, julienned
- Radish - 4-5 thin slices
- Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Sea salt - to taste
Steps
- Start by slicing the sashimi-grade salmon and tuna into thin strips.
- In a bowl, combine the sliced fish with lemon juice, sesame oil, and a pinch of sea salt to marinate for 5 minutes.
- While the fish is marinating, prepare the vegetables by slicing the avocado, julienning the cucumber, and thinly slicing the radish.
- Lay a sheet of nori on a clean surface, shiny side down.
- Place a small handful of avocado, cucumber, radish, and a few pieces of marinated fish on the nori, leaving space at the bottom edge.
- Sprinkle some chopped cilantro over the filling.
- Starting from the bottom edge, roll the nori tightly around the filling to form a cone shape, using a little water to seal the edge.
- Repeat the process with the remaining nori and filling ingredients.
- Serve the temaki immediately with extra lemon juice or dipping sauce on the side if desired.
