Ingredients
- Chicken breast - 300 grams
- Sake - 60 ml
- Coconut aminos - 60 ml
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
Steps
- In a bowl, combine sake, coconut aminos, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Mix well to create the teriyaki sauce.
- Slice the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and marinate it in the teriyaki sauce for at least 15 minutes.
- While the chicken is marinating, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced zucchini and bell pepper, and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the marinated chicken along with the remaining teriyaki sauce. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring frequently, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Once the chicken is done, add the stir-fried vegetables back into the skillet and toss everything together for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the Sake Teriyaki hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
