Ingredients
- Fresh white fish fillets (such as cod or halibut) - 300 grams
- Coconut aminos - 3 tablespoons
- Fresh ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic, minced - 1 clove
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) - 20 grams
- Green onions, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Sea salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a medium bowl, combine coconut aminos, grated ginger, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the fish fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and reserve the marinade for later.
- Cook the fish fillets in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
- While the fish is cooking, heat the reserved marinade in a small saucepan over low heat until warmed.
- Once the fish is cooked, transfer it to a serving plate and drizzle with the warmed marinade.
- Sprinkle katsuobushi over the top and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
