Ingredients

  • Fresh white fish fillets (such as cod or halibut) - 300 grams
  • Coconut aminos - 3 tablespoons
  • Fresh ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic, minced - 1 clove
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) - 20 grams
  • Green onions, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Sea salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, combine coconut aminos, grated ginger, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the fish fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and reserve the marinade for later.
  4. Cook the fish fillets in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
  5. While the fish is cooking, heat the reserved marinade in a small saucepan over low heat until warmed.
  6. Once the fish is cooked, transfer it to a serving plate and drizzle with the warmed marinade.
  7. Sprinkle katsuobushi over the top and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
