- Grilled mackerel fillets - 200g
- Soy sauce (or coconut aminos for Paleo) - 1 tablespoon
- Sliced green onions - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Nori sheets - 2 small, cut into strips
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, salt, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg and olive oil together until well blended.
- Pour the egg mixture into the almond flour mixture and stir until a dough forms.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the dough into a round pizza shape, about 1cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until slightly golden.
- Meanwhile, flake the grilled mackerel into bite-sized pieces and mix it with soy sauce.
- After the crust is baked, remove it from the oven and evenly distribute the mackerel mixture on top.
- Sprinkle sliced green onions and sesame seeds over the mackerel.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with nori strips before slicing and serving.
