Steps

  1. Ensure the mackerel fillets are fresh and sushi-grade. Rinse under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Sprinkle the sea salt evenly over the mackerel fillets and let sit for 5 minutes to enhance the flavor.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the lime juice, coconut aminos, and sesame oil to create the dressing.
  4. Slice the mackerel into thin pieces, approximately 1 cm thick.
