- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Honey - 1 teaspoon (optional for sweetness)
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
Steps
- Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium heat.
- Season the mackerel fillets with salt on both sides.
- Brush the grill or pan with olive oil and place the mackerel skin-side down.
- Grill the mackerel for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky.
- While the mackerel is cooking, prepare the salad dressing by whisking together the white miso paste, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and honey in a small bowl until smooth.
- In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, cucumber, carrot, red bell pepper, and green onion.
